Our manufacturer, Action Floor Systems, LLC now has available a milled integral expansion ridge (0.015625”), this allows for uniform expansion allowance across the wood floor system’s surface. As with all technologies, dealing with hydroscopic materials based on time of year and prevailing environmental conditions additional intermediate expansion may be

recommended.

The expansion ridge will be available on Actions’ 25/32” x 2-1/4” maple flooring products in both random length and finger-jointed material.
